We’re proud to have entered the Australian oil and gas market with the successful completion of our first project for a major new client. Our scale control technology is now protecting three onshore gas wells in South Australia from calcite and halite.

These wells were suffering from persistent scale build-up in the production tubing which was negatively affecting integrity and flow rate. Scale had been witnessed primarily around the upper perforations so water flushing, broaching and milling, with coiled tubing intervention, was used to address the issue. Remedial interventions were regularly repeated at six-monthly intervals on each well, until the operator decided to seek a less invasive, less repetitive and more cost-effective, long-term solution.

💡 Our always on, electromagnetic signaling technology is now reaching deep into these wells to protect them from the negative effects of scale deposition and prevent unplanned downtime and OPEX.

🌞 The operator also chose to boost environmental benefits and align with their sustainability goals by running our low power technology continuously from solar panels.
